Tommi Satosaari (born
February 17 ,1975 inJyväskylä ,Finland ) is a Finnish professionalice hockey goaltender .Satosaari played his first five years as a pro with his hometown team JYP in the
SM-liiga . When the team unloaded several players after a disappointing1999 -00 season, Satosaari made his way abroad, spending the next season with theNewcastle Jesters in the British ice hockey league. Satosaari then returned to Finland for a season withÄssät , and in2002 -03 he representedBremerhaven REV in the German second league in the fall, and finished the year withIlves . In2003 -04 Satosaari played for theNewcastle Vipers in Great Britain, and made an unusual career move when he chose to play inSlovenia for the2004 -05 season.Returning to JYP, Satosaari was made
Sinuhe Wallinheimo 's backup, but when Wallinheimo performed exceptionally well Satosaari transferred to Pelicans for the rest of the season.References
