Veathika Jain

Veathika Jain (born: 27 January 1980) is a journalist based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Currently working with City 7 TV as a producer and presenter, also freelances with ARY Digital and writes for various magazines in Dubai. Prior to this, Veathika was working with Arab Radio Network’s 104.4 Awaaz, as a producer-presenter. She did a drive time show from 4pm to 7pm called Awaaz Junction.

She used to be with Star News as an anchor for their various bulletins including a breakfast show called Pehli Khabar and day news wheels.

She was earlier with CNBC TV18, New Delhi TeleVision (NDTV), and Aaj Tak - India's best known TV channels. She has in an eventful career, been an anchor, producer , senior correspondent etc., displaying immense versatility in the visual medium. She has hosted breakfast and business shows, lifestyle programmes, covering events in the world of entertainment, travel, tourism and retail business. Her knowledge of art and culture as well as her proficiency in Hindi and English have been her mainstay in an eventful career till now.

During her college years she worked as an enthusiastic and very successful Mentor with THE GENIUS - an institution specialising in IQ enhancement programmes in Central India.

She has won numerous awards for her in-depth articles on the Mumbai entertainment industry.

Her contributions to the major Indian television networks have won her a place in the Who's Who of Indian television, and now she is with what she calls her first love - the TV, a medium that calls for greater broadcast skills than ever before.
