Accreditation

In 1994, the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools gave accreditation to Grace College and Seminary thereby joining the previously two individually-accredited institutions. History

Grace College

It began as a two-year college in 1948, and is currently categorized as a four-year liberal arts school by The College Board. Grace Theological Seminary

The seminary enjoys a history that dates back to its 1937 organization by Alva J. New Provost

The institution welcomed a new provost in 2007, Dr. Bill Katip, a Grace alumnus. Beginning with the start of the 2008-2009 academic year, Dr. Carrie Yocum will serve as the Assistant Provost.

Academics

The seminary is a candidate for accreditation by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. [cite web|url=http://www.ats.edu/member_schools/gracetsg.asp|title=Member schools] . The dean of the seminary is Dr. Jeff Gill.

Prison Education

The institution has a ministry to the incarcerated in Indiana at various correctional facilities throughout the state directed by Dr. John Teevan.

Campus

Residence Halls

Alpha Hall, Beta Hall, Kent Hall (named after former Grace professor and president Dr. Homer Kent), Indiana Hall (called Indy by students), Westminster Hall (called Westy by students), Gamma C, Epsilon (called Epsy by students), Lamppost, and the Gamma Townhouse are the residence halls on campus. Each specific dormitory has an assigned resident director. Some dorms have assistant resident directors (usually graduate students), who help with overseeing the residence hall), as well as resident assistants and growth group leaders that lead weekly small groups on the hall for residents.

For those students who do not live in the residence halls, there is an off-campus association. A lounge for these students is in Westminster Hall near the Student Grille. The lounge features televisions, couches, study tables, internet access, and purified water. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

Athletics

Grace sponsors 15 intercollegiate sports: Volleyball (coached by Andria Harshman), Golf (coached by Bo Wright), Men's Soccer (coached by Matt Hotchkin), Women's Soccer (coached by Michael Voss), Men's Cross Country and Women's Cross Country (both coached by Neal Butler), Men's Tennis (coached by Larry Schuh), Women's Tennis (coached by Deron Datzman), Men's Basketball (coached by James C.Kessler), Women's Basketball (coached by Scott A. Blum), Cheerleading (coached by Arianna Green), Baseball (coached by Joshua Bailey), Softball (coached by Stephen Liebsch), Track and Field (coached by Neal Butler)

Grace's athletic director is named Chad Briscoe. The volleyball and men's and women's basketball squads opened up play this past (2007-08) season in the beautiful new Orthopaedic Capitol Center. The sports information director is Matt Moore. Moore is also an assistant men's basketball coach. The athletic trainer is Megan Furnish of Kosciusko Community Hospital's Regional Rehabilitation Center.
