input = The Pajama Sam series is a collection of children's adventure and puzzle games created by Humongous Entertainment. They primarily involve clicking to get to a destination, although some sub-quests and mini-games involve the keyboard. Pajama Sam is helped throughout the series by an array of normally inanimate objects that are alive in the fantasy worlds he visits. The good-natured hero Pajama Sam, will do just about anything from capturing Darkness in his Pajama Man metal lunchbox, to making peace with food group delegates in order to help others and conquer his aversion to certain foods.

Sam idolizes a comic book hero (invented for the series) named "Pajama-Man" (which is why Sam calls himself "Pajama Sam" when he goes off on an adventure). In the second game (Thunder & Lightning), a mini-comic book was included in the box that featured the adventures of Pajama-Man. The games also include in-game collectible items - socks in the first, puzzle pieces in the second, boxtops in the third, and trading cards in the fourth - that were scattered around the game.

"Pajama Sam: No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside"

Pajama Sam, frustrated with his fear of the dark, enters the "Land of Darkness" through his closet hoping to capture Darkness, who has been anthropomorphized into an actual character. The land of darkness itself is littered with items that one would find in a basement or closet - socks, washing machines, etc and is full of whimsical or surreal situations. Sam searches for his lost possessions (his "Pajama Sam mask", his lunch-box, and his flashlight) which have been confiscated during a Customs inspection at the beginning of the adventure. The entire adventure occurs at night, overshadowed by fact that Darkness' name appears in most locations in the game. As the game ends, Sam is no longer scared of the dark.

Pajama Sam must fight his fear of Thunder and Lightning by going up into the clouds through his attic. Accidentally, he messes up the Earth's weather and must go locate certain items in order to repair it, all before Mother Nature arrives.

First his cookies spoil his dinner, and now they are off to cause trouble somewhere else! Pajama Sam is led to a party by his Choc Amok cookies and is then faced with having to rescue the Edibles Peace Delegates for an emergency conference. Pajama Sam must find and rescue Florette, Pierre La Pain, Chuck Cheddar(Cheese of Adventure), Granny Smythe, and Bean 47 all in time before the conference is called off by General Beetfoot.

Puzzle Games

Both of these games were released as Junior Arcade games for ages 3-8.

"Pajama Sam's Sock Works"

As he is getting ready for bed, Sam's mother reminmds him to sort his socks before going to school. As he falls asleep, he begins to dream about having a machine to do it for him. The game consists of helping Sam guide the socks through the machine into the correct sorting bins, using various chutes and machines laid out in a a grid. The goal is to get the colored socks into similarly-colored baskets.

"Pajama Sam's Lost & Found"

Sam, trying to find his misplaced belongings, travels through various lands within his room while riding on Otto the boat (a character he met in his first adventure). As he goes down the river in each game level, he must jump up to grab items floating in the air, including powerups and the items he wants, while dodging items that Otto would crash into.

A printing program that lets children make and print their own creations with the Pajama Sam characters.

"Pajama Sam's Games To Play On Any Day"

Pajama Sam is bored on a rainy day so he decides to play a board game and his favorite game is on the top. Sam climbs up the shelf and gets the game but falls into a pile of other board games. When he lands he is in a world where he can play 8 classic games and 2 puzzle games.
