Jarrad Schofield (born 30 January 1975) is an Australian rules footballer who played for three teams the Australian Football League and currently plays for Subiaco Football Club in the West Australian Football League.

Playing career

West Coast career

Schofield made his debut in 1993 with the West Coast Eagles.

Port Adelaide career

He switched to Port Adelaide in 1999 and was noted for being a useful running outside midfielder, used as a "link man" in the midfield. In 2004 he enjoyed an outstanding season where he amassed a high amount of disposals for Port, and topped it off by being a part of Port's premiership side.

Fremantle career

In 2005 Schofield went back home to Perth, this time playing with the Fremantle Football Club. In 2005 he struggled to get on the field with numerous injuries and had what was considered a disappointing season which was much different from the heights he reached in 2004.

Schofield had shown further indications that he may be nearing the twilight of his career, particularly when in the 2006 NAB Cup semi-final against Geelong, he had a poor game where he dropped a simple chest mark and then proceeded to concede a number of free kicks. At 31 years of age Schofield's future at the club was in doubt.

He announced prior to Round 22 that he would retire from AFL football at the end of the 2006 season, with injury restricting him to just two matches up to that point. [http://www.abc.net.au/sport/content/200608/s1727368.htm]

In 2007 Schofield continues to play for Subiaco in the WAFL.
