- Gary Barden
Gary John Barden (born
27 August 1955 in Tunbridge Wells,England ) and first sang in the group Fraser Nash before frontingMichael Schenker Group from 1979 to 1982. He was discovered by Michael Schenker upon the guitarist's hearing a Fraser Nash demo. He appeared on "The Michael Schenker Group " [1980] , "MSG" [1981] and "One Night at Budokan " [1981] albums. He was asked to leave the group and in the interim worked withGary Moore . Barden returned to MSG in 1983 for the album "Built to Destroy " [1983] , followed by the live album "Rock Will Never Die " [1984] . After his stint in MSG he went on to formStatetrooper with brothers Steve and Paul Johnson. Gary Barden is currently [2007] fronting Silver and Statetrooper and maintaining a solo career. Gary Barden has been recording a new album withMichael Schenker Group called "In the Midst of Beauty" which will be released in April followed by a world tour.External links
