- Mark Daniels
Dr. Mark R. Daniels is Professor of Political Science and Chair of the Department of Political Science at
Slippery Rock University in westernPennsylvania . He received hisPh.D. in Political Science (Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Philosophy) from theUniversity of Georgia in 1979, MA in Political Science (Political Philosophy) fromSouthern Illinois University in 1975, and BA in Political Science fromValparaiso University in 1973. He also completed two semesters of political statistics course work at the Institute for Social Research at theUniversity of Michigan in 1980 as a Visiting Scholar. He is also a member of the Graduate Faculty ofIndiana University of Pennsylvania , teaching in the Ph.D. program in Administration and Leadership Studies inHarrisburg . He is the father of two sons, Nathaniel, a graduate ofVanderbilt University (major: Human and Organizational Leadership) and broker/analyst with Bank of Switzerland - Zurich in Dallas, Texas, and Noah, a graduate of Slippery Rock University (major: Political Science, Minors in International Affairs, Comparative and International Relations, and Asian Studies) and Corporate Paralegal with Newtek Inc., a business services firm with corporate offices located in Times Square, New York. His current research is on sustainable community programs in local communities in Pennsylvania.Works
