Princess Kako of Akishino (佳子 内親王 殿下 "Kako naishinnō denka") (born December 29 1994) the second daughter of Prince Akishino (Fumihito) and his wife, the former Kawashima Kiko, is a member of the Japanese imperial family. She is the second-born granddaughter of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko. Princess Kako is currently a second-year student at Gakushuin Girls' Junior High School in Tokyo.
