Vito Scotti (January 26 1918 — June 5 1996) was a character actor who played many roles, primarily from the late 1940s to the early 1980s. He made a guest appearance on the Faerie Tale Theatre episode "Pinocchio" in 1984 as Antonio.

Scotti had minor roles in movies such as "The Godfather" and "Von Ryan's Express" and "Cactus Flower", and also appeared in television series such as "The Addams Family", "Gunsmoke", "The Dick Van Dyke Show", "Columbo", "The Flying Nun", "Get Smart" and "Hogan's Heroes". He also played a mad scientist Dr. Boris Balinkoff (twice) and a stereotypical Japanese soldier on "Gilligan's Island".

In 1952, Scotti replaced J. Carroll Naish as Luigi on the television version of the radio show "Life with Luigi".

In 1954 and 1955, Scotti played the "antagonist" against Froggy the Gremlin on Andy's Gang [Scotti's biography on the [http://home.earthlink.net/~christmascamel/id1.html Froggy the Gremlin] website.] .
