J. Randall Price

J. Randall Price (often referred to just as Randall Price) is an archaeologist and research author who is founder and President for World of the Bible Ministries.

Biography

He is a Th.M. graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary in Old Testament and Semitic Languages and holds a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. He has studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is Distinguished Professor of Jewish Studies and Executive Director of the Center for Judaic Studies at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

He has served as Director of Excavations on the Qumran Plateau in Israel (site of the community that preserved the Dead Sea Scrolls) since 2002 and has excavated at other sites n Israel since 1990.

He also is President of World of the Bible Ministries, Inc. (www.worldofthebible.com), a non-profit organization doing seminal research in the biblical lands and educating the public on archaeological, biblical issues and the Middle East conflict through books, media, and conferences.

He has authored over 20 books and films on the Bible, and is often guest on television programs.
