Paul Moyer (born 1942 in
Los Angeles, CA ) is a veteran broadcaster inSouthern California . He currently co-anchors the 5 and 11 p.m weekday editions of theKNBC 's Channel 4 News withColleen Williams . Moyer had previously worked at KNBC from 1972 to 1979 before jumping toKABC-TV in Los Angeles during the 1980s where he anchored the 5 & 11 p.m. weekday news with Ann Martin. He returned toKNBC , after a bidding war, in July 1992 to co-anchor with longtime KNBC newscasterKelly Lange ; both received a seven figure salary. TV Guide reported that Moyer, Lange, and Williams all made close to a million dollars in yearly salary. According to a June 2007 article in Los Angeles Magazine, Moyer's salary is rumored to be closer to $3 million dollars. A veteran journalist, Moyer has worked primarily in the two major television markets — New York andLos Angeles — in addition to briefly working on network newscasts. Moyer is now Los Angeles' longest-running news anchor following the death of legendaryKTLA anchorHal Fishman on August 7, 2007.Prior to moving to
