Saraya (Senegal) "Saraya were a
hard rock band featuring singer Sandi Saraya, guitarist Tony "Bruno" Rey, bassist Gary Taylor, keyboardist Gregg Munier, and drummer Chuck Bonfante. The band is best known for their song "Love Has Taken Its Toll", and for being one of the few female-fronted rock bands of the 1980s.The band split up shortly after releasing their second album due to Gregg Munier quitting the band due to musical differences and the changing face of the music scene which was not sympathetic to rock music.Gregg Munier died on February 3rd 2006 of complications from pneumonia.
