Blach Intermediate School is a middle school serving grades 7-8 in Los Altos, California, United States. It is part of the Los Altos School District. Founded in 1958, Blach was named after Georgina P. Blach in a dedication ceremony on December 11 of the same year. (Georgina P. Blach was a former school board member). The school's greatest "rival" is Egan Junior High School.

Fun Fridays

Every Friday, This School has homeroom competitions and fun activities.

Late Start Wednesdays

On Wednesday, School starts at 9:00 am instead of the usual 8:12.

Sports

teens have a choice of volleyball, Basketball, softball, Track and Field, and Wrestling.

Electives

Electives consist of Engineering(kind of like woodshop), video production, Computers, French, Spanish, Library, OrchestraBand.

Homeroom

Homeroom is your third period. You get to participate in challenges for your homeroom every Friday. You also watch Blach T.V to see what's going on around the campus.

Science

Making Ice cream, Dissecting frogs, Scientific methods, etc.
