Bucknall, Lincolnshire

Bucknall is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 309. The village is about 7 miles west of Horncastle. It is claimed that Lady Godiva was born here, largely based on her brother Thorold, Sheriff of Lincolnshire, being known as "Thorold of Bucknall".

Bucknall is also home to a farm-shop, a BT telephone box (No longer operational), a church, a small primary school, a nursing home, a foster home/remand home and several post boxes.
