Chris Ward is one of the top directors of gay pornographic films in the United States^{[citation needed]}. He co-founded Raging Stallion Studios with JD Slater in 1999 and remains that company's president and principal director^{[citation needed]}.

An influential figure in the adult industry, Chris Ward has directed over 100 films, including such major movies as Arabesque, A Porn Star Is Born, GRUNTS, Sexus, and Manifesto^{[citation needed]}. His work before starting Raging Stallion included directing films for Hot House Entertainment and Falcon Studios^{[citation needed]}. He holds a Ph.D. in Latin American History from the University of Florida.^{[citation needed]}

Awards and nominations

• 2008 Ward won the GayVN Awards^[1] and Grabby Awards in 2008 for Best Director (along with co-director Ben Leon) for GRUNTS, which also was given the award for Best Picture. In 2008 Raging Stallion purchased High Octane Studios, making Ward's company one of the largest (if not the largest) all male erotic companies in the United States.
• 2009 GayVN Awards winner of Best Director with Ben Leon and Tony Dimarco for "To the Last Man" (Raging Stallion).^[2]
• 2009 XBIZ Award - GLBT Director of the Year (tie with T. Dimarco and B. Leon) ^[3]
