Brockdish

Brockdish

Brockdish is a village and civil parish in the South Norfolk district of Norfolk, England. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 605. The village is situated on the River Waveney (south of which is Suffolk), and is about three miles south-west of Harleston. Like many villages Brockdish has suffered some demise in local business as people work further afield. The village's second pub shut in 2000 leaving one pub, the Kings Head, the village hall, a stall selling fresh eggs, a village school and a stall selling veg, plants and some antiques.

More recently there have been other items for sale outside people's houses including organic home grown fruit and veg and various other unwanted items such as pushchairs etc.

The village hall is a hive of activity with a variety of things going on including kick boxing.
