"PARSEC47" is an abstract top-down scrolling shooter game created by Kenta Cho. The game features 3D graphics drawn with OpenGL. There are four settings in the game: practice, normal, hard and extreme. There are a wide variety of different enemies which provide varying patterns of fire and number of points.

There are two game modes embedded in "PARSEC47". In both of them the player must destroy enemies while avoiding their projectiles and collecting green clusters of boxes for points. The main change between the two modes is the background color, and the special function of the player's ship change. In the first mode, Roll, the special function can be held to power up a humongous wave of particles (Kenta Cho simply dubs it the "roll shot") which can destroy many enemies or severely damage larger targets which the regular weapon would normally take more time to wreck. While being held around the ship, the roll shot can also be used as a powerful close-range weapon. The second mode, Lock, changes the Roll cannon into a sort of targeting mode which allows the player to track enemies directly in front of the ship and fire a continuous barrage of lasers at an enemy.
