Bugthorpe is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England about Convert|12|mi|km|lk=on east of York and Convert|17|mi|km|lk=off west of Driffield. The village is just south of the border with North Yorkshire. According to the 2001 UK census the civil parish had a population of 122.cite web
