"The Splendour of Fear" is the second album by British alternative rock band Felt, released in 1984. It was later reissued by Cherry Red along with prior album "Crumbling the Antiseptic Beauty" on a single CD. A largely instrumental album, only tracks 2 and 5 have lyrics.

The cover art is taken from the cover of the 1966 Andy Warhol/Paul Morrissey film "Chelsea Girls".
