James H. Reeve

James H. Reeve

James Hengist Reeve is a UK broadcaster, journalist, raconteur and radio phone-in host based in the Manchester area. James has hosted shows on Piccadilly Radio, BBC GMR (now BBC Radio Manchester), BBC Radio Five Live, Sheffield Hallam FM, talkSPORT, TEAMtalk radio stations and, up until July 2006, presented the late night phone-in show at Key 103.

On 1st June 2008 James ended a four week spell as the weekend morning (6am - 10am) presenter of 106.1 Rock Radio Manchester. According to Rock Radio he came to a mutual agreement with the station, and the reason given is that other commitments were making it a difficult task to carry on presenting at such an awkward hour. This was James' shortest spell at any station.

James has also worked on radio and TV in Saudi Arabia and is widely acknowledged within the broadcasting industry to be a specialist at launching and assisting with appeals.

He appeared in the 1981 TV production of 'Strike: The Birth of Solidarity' with Sir Ian Holm.

A resident of Prestwich, James is a keen supporter of Manchester City and the Tribal Helps movement.
