Pierre Labric (born 1921 in
Rouen ) is a Frenchorganist ,pedagogue andcomposer .Pierre Labric studied at the Paris Conservatory with
Marcel Dupré andMaurice Duruflé . Later, he studied organ withJeanne Demessieux , whose complete organ works he recorded on LP. DuringJeanne Demessieux 's tenure as titular organist at La Madeleine in Paris, he was one of her substitute organists.Pierre Labric also recorded the organ symphonies ofLouis Vierne andCharles-Marie Widor (both as world premiere recordings) and the Preludes and Fugues ofCamille Saint-Saëns . For many years he held the post of titular organist at St. Ouen, Rouen, with its famousCavaillé-Coll organ.Compositions
