Migeira

Migeira (Seiyu: Midorikawa Hikaru) is a fictional character in the anime "Samurai Deeper Kyo" who is not featured in the manga.

He has short snow-white hair, two different colored eyes (one blue and one red), and wears a futuristic caped uniform with a dark purple bandanna covering the lower part of his face. His weapon, one of the Five Muramasas, is a 5-barreled gun called the Hashagou that he wears on his right arm. Its ammunition seems to be his soul or spiritual power. Migeira says that the first Muramasa was taken to China, and changed by Western alchemists into the form of a gun that he later tracked down. He also has the ability to see "the future" (or more correctly, the proper timeline that historically "should" have happened) and belongs to Kyou no Miyako, a secret order dedicated to governing the path of history. Because Kyo inhabits a body with two souls, this has caused a disturbance in the time line that Migeira seeks to rectify. He seems nonchalant most of the time, but sometimes gives wise advice to the characters or speaks passionately about his own sense of justice.

Migeira has stated several times that he will kill Demon Eyes Kyo to set time correct, though it is unknown if he will attempt to do so, or would be able to defeat him. Some reviewers criticize Migeira as being inherently out of place, largely because he is an energy-gun wielder in a samurai anime. A short scene in Episode 20 of the anime (“Far Away, to Absolute Zero”) gives the clearest picture of Migeira's background.

In several episodes he was referred to as a European and most likely came from France (Further indicated by Addie Blaustein with the way she voiced Migeira). As noted by many fans Migeira has an uncanny resemblance to the famous ninja Kakashi Hatake from the Naruto anime and manga series, from the red eye to the masked face and even the white hair.
