Ben Cahoon (born
July 16 ,1972 inOgden ,Utah ) is aslotback with theMontreal Alouettes . He won the award for the Most Outstanding Canadian in theCanadian Football League two years in a row in 2002 and 2003.Cahoon played his high school football at Mountain View High School in
Orem, Utah , and his college football at nearbyBrigham Young University inProvo, Utah where he caught 57 passes for 931 yards in his senior year. He also averaged 84.6 yards during that season. He was drafted by theMontreal Alouettes in the 1st round (6th overall) in the 1998 CFL draft. He won the91st Grey Cup with Montreal in 2002 and was namedGrey Cup Most Valuable Canadian . August 2 ,2007 Ben Cahoon kicked a game winning 22-yard field goal in overtime in a 29-27 victory over theToronto Argonauts . He is also considered to be one of the greatest slotbacks ever, and was nominated alongside of
