Sister school

Sister school

The term sister school originally referred to a definite financial commerce between two colleges or universities. More recently, the definition has been widened to include any schools that have a strong historical connection, two single-sex schools which have social activities involving students from both schools, two schools under the same management, or schools in different nations that have established a collaborative international partnership.
