Battisford

Battisford

Battisford is a village and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 482. The village is about four miles south of Stowmarket.

The village contains a Free Church, a Community Centre, which holds the playgroup, and a Play area called the village green. The main road which runs through Battisford is Straight Road, being very straight and over a mile long. There is one pub in the village, the Punchbowl, with the Gardener's Arms nearby in Moats Tye. Alas, the only problem with the village is, there aren't any shops, whatsoever.

However, Battisford does have a bus shelter, but no bus service, and a fruit farm, not to mention two working phone boxes!

Battisford has many farms and fields
