Ethelwine of Lindsey, otherwise Elwin, (d c 700) was the second bishop of Lindsey from c. 680,Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 238] and a saint. [ [http://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=3200 Catholic Online Saints and Angels] accessed on September 1, 2007]

Other than a reference in Bede's "Historia" to him and his family (including his sister the abbess Ethelhild), very little is known of him. The even less well evidenced Saint Aldwyn is sometimes said to have been his brother.
