Petr Průcha (born September 14, 1982, in Chrudim, Czechoslovakia) is a professional ice hockey forward for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League.

Průcha was scouted by the Rangers at the same time as Henrik Lundqvist, and has paid big dividends for the Rangers. He was drafted in the 8th round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, 240th overall.

He played 47 games in the 2004-05 season for HC Moeller Pardubice in the Czech Republic League, scoring seven goals with 17 points.

The next season Průcha moved onto the New York Rangers, and as a rookie scored 30 goals and 47 points in 68 games. His 16 powerplay goals on the season broke Camille Henry's record for the single-season rookie power play goal mark for the Rangers.

Jaromír Jágr took the young Czech Průcha under his wing, as Průcha was new to New York in 2005. During the 2005–06 NHL season he and Jagr shared an apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, however they no longer do.

On July 5, 2007, Průcha re-signed with the Rangers to a 2 year deal worth $3.2 million.
