She is the widow of kung fu movie starAlexander Fu Sheng , who died in a 1983 car accident. She and her late husband had no children; however in 1988, Tseng gave birth to a daughter, Melody. Somewhat controversially, she has refused to name the father to the present day.In addition to singing, Tseng also acted in several films during the 1970s and 1980s. She now lives in
