Shahindej

Shahindej or shahindezh (old name Sayin dezh ) is a city in West Azarbaijan Province, northwestern Iran, with a population of 34,204 according to the 2006 census [ [http://www.gazetteer.de/wg.php?x=1134141460&men=gcis&lng=en&gln=xx&des=gamelan&dat=200&geo=-1904&srt=pnan&col=aohdqcfbeimg&pt=a&va=x&srt=epnan "Azarbayejān-e Gharbi: agglomérations" "World Gazetteer"] ] , southeast of Lake Urmia about 1,300 metres above sea level.
