The enumerated development guidelines are intended to promote professionalism, elegant design, standardized base functionality, predictability, and ease of use. Where possible, each guideline is accompanied with sample code written in C++ using the wxWidgets framework. The included fully-working demo application applies all these guidelines and is well suited as a starting code base for projects.
