Vasil Tole

Vasil Tole

Vasil Tole (born November 22, 1963) is an Albanian composer of European classical music, including opera, chamber music, orchestral works and various pieces for small ensembles and solo instruments. He is the author of several books, mostly about the music of Albania.

Tole is currently a Professor at the Academy of Arts in Tirana, Albania. He is also the head of the Department for Cultural Heritage in Albania's Ministry of Culture; president of the Albanian Music Council; and a member of the International Music Council.
