Ilir Kadia

Ilir Kadia is well known for being one of the most respected journalists in Albania. He has been working for the BBC World Service since 1993. [ [http://www.bbc.co.uk/albanian/institutional/printable/aboutus.shtml BBCAlbanian.com] , www.bbc.co.uk, undated (accessed 22 January,2007)] His book "Wet Hair" ("Floke te Lagur"), a collection of short stories, came as a surprise to the Albanian public in 2004. The book was highly praised by the literary world as well as the public; Balla says the stories "have by now become part of the reader's patrimony." Since than Ilir Kadia has published two other books entlitled "Kontrate per Kadaver" and "Nata e pare e tradhetiese". All the books are composed of 20 short stories on umpteen topics of Albanian life.
