Ashleyhay is a village and civil parish in the Amber Valley district of Derbyshire, England, about five miles north-west of Belper. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 105.

Mayor - William Bowler

Bowler was elected unopposed as the Mayor of ashleyhay in April 1999. Bowler's campaign points included to open more farms in ashleyhay to keep the tradition of the Village which is renound for farminng. Another one of his campaign points included the controversial idea of lowering the drinking age in the UK to only 16, but he has now decided this is not a way foward in this country and decided that 13 was a better age to start drinking at. William Bowler is always open to suggestions via email, [e-mail] his nine years as Mayor Bowler has been callled a Fraud, Dislexic, Blonde bombshell and worst of all Farmer. Bowler is now reported to be having an affair with Patrick Botting.
