Pirate Islands

Plot Summary

Three children, Kate, Sarah, and Nicholas are trapped on a computer-generated pirate island. They lose their scanner, the only artifact which can return them to their own world, to the ferocious Captain Blackheart, whose evil nature is matched only by his incompetence. The island contains a settlement of children from shipwrecks, who urgently need to obtain Captain Quaid's treasure to return home. Their leader, Mars, becomes increasingly attracted to Kate, eldest of the three children, much to the chagrin of Carmen, who also nourishes affection for him. The ghost of Captain Quaid is confined to a shipwreck on the island's coast and he is not helpful when it comes to finding his treasure. Belle, a sentient flower that communicates by tinkling, is probably more intelligent than anyone else in the plot. Eventually good triumphs over evil, Carmen makes her peace with Kate and then sails home. Kate goes home, but not after assuring Mars she will return.

Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji

Plot Summary

Three Australian computer game champs, Tyler, Marty and Alison and one Fijian computer champ, Kirra are forced to swap their game consoles for real swords when they are thrown into a virtual pirate island world in Fiji. They face the dreaded Captain Blackheart and his dangerous new First Mate, Lily and a band of fierce pirates for a hoard of treasure stolen from an Egyptian Pharaoh's tomb by the legendary pirate ship, Neptune's Revenge, and its fierce captain, Salty Ben. Tyler, Kirra and Alison befriend a local Fijian tribe and its leader, Sol, who takes a liking to Kirra, while Marty preferes the pirate lifestyle, becoming Captain Blackheart's cabin boy at one stage. Marty's allegiance is constantly questioned whether he's on Blackheart's side or his brother Tyler's side, after Blackheart's dangerous First Mate, Lily, leads a revolt and takes over Blackheart's ship.

Will Tyler, Kirra and Alison find the three torn pieces of the treasure map and find their way home, or will the dreaded Captain Blackheart and his crew of pirates find the treasure of treasures?
