Edward Monkton

Edward Monkton

Edward Monkton is an artist responsible for a range of cartoon-like designs. Originally created as "the Interesting thoughts of Edward Monkton" greeting cards, the designs are now available in other forms as a range of gifts, such as hairbrushes, magnets and notebooks. Products appear with the message "the INTERESTING thoughts of EDWARD MONKTON". Best known characters include "the Pig of Happiness" and "the Penguin of Death" though other characters include "the Sheep of Destiny" and "Zen Dog".

Edward Monkton is another persona of Purple Ronnie, where designs are generally more cheeky. Edward Monkton products are of a more innocent and philosophical nature, though the author is not afraid to produce nonsensical light-hearted messages.
