Yuculta

Yuculta

The word Yuculta is from the Kwak'wala language of northern Vancouver Island and may refer to:

*The Laich-kwil-tach or Southern Kwakiutl First Nations people of Campbell River and Quadra Island. Another form of Laich-kwil-tach than "Yuculta" is "Euclataw", both of which recur in historical writings on these people.
*The Yuculta Rapids near the mouth of Bute Inlet, which are named for the Laich-kwil-tach people
