Trodat is one of the largest self-inking
rubber stamp manufacturers in the world. Founded by Franz Just inVienna ,Austria , in 1912, moved toWels (where the headquarters is still located) by Walter, the son of the founder, after WW II in 1951, because Vienna was in theSoviet Zone of the divided city at that time. With subsidiaries in various parts of the world, including a production facility inXiamen ,China , this family-owned business is one ofAustria 's most successful internationally operating companies. Main product is their 'Printy' model, of which 150 mill. have been sold. In 2003, the Trodat Printy stamp line underwent an overhaul to make a more ergonomic, innovative design.
