History

The airline started operations in 2006. It had previously operated as Air Luxor, which ceased operations in October 2006. It no longer operates scheduled services and concentrates on leasing activities. It is owned by Mirpuri Investments.

At October 2005 Air Luxor was planning to rebrand itself as Hifly within the next twelve months. It would only use the brand for its charter flights in a first phase [ [http://www.ch-aviation.ch/news.php CH-Aviation] 22 October 2005] .In 2008 Hifly will operate two Airbus A310-300ET for Oman Air, and one Airbus A330-321for Royal Australian Air Force.
