Weekly ST

Weekly ST

"Weekly ST" is a weekly newspaper published by The Japan Times for learners of English language. It is originally titled as Student Times, but changed to the current one to reflect the fact that a significant portion of its readers are not students. It has articles on news, movie, lifestyle in English-speaking countries, opinions and other kinds, attracting learners of English and helping them with notes on terms. Asahi Weekly, by Asahi Shimbun, is the rival for this weekly, although both are distributed home by the same network since the Japan Times belongs to Asahi Shimbun's one.
