Track 1 is a newly recorded cover of The Kinks' song. Track 2 was written for the 1994 Tom Cruise film Interview With The Vampire but was rejected from inclusion in the films' score Tracks 3-6 came from the movie Crossroads(1986), with Ralph Macchio and Joe Seneca. In this movie Steve Vai plays as "Jack Butler", a rival guitar player which Macchio must defeat in a guitar duel to free his friend's soul (Seneca as a bluesman). These tracks were not released as part of the original motion picture soundtrack album. Tracks 7-8 are from the 1987 movie "Dudes". Only Track 7 appeared on the film's soundtrack album. Tracks 9-16 are from the 1991 movie Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. Only Tracks 10 and 16 appeared on the film's soundtrack album. Tracks 17 and 18 are from the 1992 movie Encino Man. Only Track 18 appeared on the film's soundtrack album. Tracks 19-40 is essentially the score of the 1994 movie PCU which Vai composed, but only Track 40 was released on the film's soundtrack album.
