The NES Game Compartment Box ( _ja. FC Game Compartment Box) was a heavy metal box for storing Mario games for the NES.

On each side, it shows artwork from "Super Mario Bros. 3" and shows the logo for "Super Mario Bros. 3", the Nintendo logo, Mario, Princess Peach running behind Luigi, holding his hand with Toad running with them, Koopalings, the castle with the green Koopa in display, and other enemies.

This storage box was made and released in Japan in 1990, and wasn't released in North America until 1991, when the SNES system and "Super Mario World" were released there, two months later. Officially, these compartments were popular, but they did not sell well in North America. They are quite rare, and rather hard to find.
