Exatron

Exatron

Exatron manufactures a complete line of automated handling, testing, programming, and marking equipment for the packaged integrated circuit industry.

In the late 1970s and early 1980s Exatron manufactured the Exatron Stringy Floppy tape storage device for microcomputers.

Company History

In Video Games magazine, June 1983, page 49 it says that "Last February the Exatron Corproration changed its name to Entrepo (meaning "a storage place")".

However, since the company's current name is Exatron it is not clear if this name change never took place or if the name was changed back at a later date.
