Jalgaon District (जळगाव) is a district of

It is bounded by
Madhya Pradeshstate on the north, and by the districts of Buldhanato the east, Jalnaon the southeast, Aurangabad on the south, Nashikon the southwest, and Dhuleon the west.
Major crops produced in this district are banana, cotton, wheat, millet, lime, groundnut and sugarcane.

The Jalgaon city is the administrative headquarters of this district. There are 12 Vidhan Sabha constituencies in this district. They are Chalisgaon (SC), Parola, Amalner, Chopda, Erandol, Jalgaon, Pachora, Jamner, Bhusaval, Yaval, Raver and Edlabad. Erandol and Jalgaon are the two Lok Sabha constituencies of the district.
