Review

Accoding to a book review::"This is a revised and extended English version of Sayyid Mawdudi's Urdu, Islam Ka Nizam Hayat (Lahore, 1948). Within the limits of five short talks, delivered on Radio Pakistan during Jan-March 1948, Sayyid Mawdudi deals with most of the essential aspects of Islam, whether it be morals and ethics, politics and economics, family and social life, or spirituality and worship. Perhaps it may not be an exaggeration to say that no other work, in any language, covers so wide range of themes in so short a space. An added feature of this version is that extensive references from the Quran and Sunnah have been provided. Already widely acclaimed and used as one of the most concise primary texts on Islam in contemporary times, this new version will surely prove to be much more useful for many individuals, groups, study circles and classes around the world who are ardently trying to make their lives and socieities truly Islamic [ [http://www.kvisionbooks.com/product_info.php/Islamic_Foundation_UK/The_Islamic_Way_of_Life/ The Islamic Way of Life ] ]
