International Viewpoint

International Viewpoint

"International Viewpoint" is the English-language edition of the monthly magazine of the reunified Fourth International. It focuses on translating articles into English written by socialists in other languages. Its ISSN is 0294-2925.

Editions are also produced by the International in French [http://www.inprecor.org Inprecor] and German [http://www.inpekorr.de Inprekorr] . The Spanish-language [http://www.inprecor.com.br Inprecor para Latin America] is produced by Brazilian socialists.

The magazine was established in 1983 to replace Intercontinental Press, which had ended its 22-year association with Inprecor and closed in 1985. In 1995, it absorbed International Marxist Review. The magazine has a network of correspondents in over 50 countries who report on popular struggles, and the debates that are shaping the left. In January 2005 International Viewpoint was relaunched as an online magazine supplemented by a pdf edition, which is printed and distributed internationally.
