Farid Khayrullovich Mukhametshin (also Farit Mokhametshin, Tatar: "Färit Xäyrulla ulı Möxämmätşin", Russian "Фарид Хайруллович Мухаметшин /Farid Khayrullovich Mukhametshin") (born May 22, 1947 in Almetyevsk) is a Tatarstan statesman and the former Prime Minister of Tatarstan. He is the Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Republic since May 27, 1998. Ethnic Tatar.
