Saint-Julien-en-Genevois is a commune and a "sous-préfecture" of the Haute-Savoie "département", in France. It is the chief town of both the canton of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois and the arrondissement of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois.

Saint-Julien-en-Genevois lies at an altitude of 468 metres. It is located right on the Swiss border some 9 kilometers southwest of downtown Geneva and forms part of its metropolitan area.

The municipality of Saint Julien-en-Genevois also consists of the following villages and/or hamlets: Thairy, Crâche, Thérens, Norcier, Ternier and Lathoy.

Saint-Julien-en-Genevois has been twinned with Mössingen, Germany, since January 13th, 1990.
