Gwinear-Gwithian is a
civil parish in thePenwith district ofCornwall ,United Kingdom . It includes the villages ofGwinear ,Reawla ,Rosewarne ,Connor Downs , andGwithian .Gwinear is situated on a hill with impressive views from the northern end of the village down through the Angarrack valley. There are a couple of local shops, including a post office, and also a local pub, the Royal Standard. Gwithian was also the former administrative centre of the Penwith Hundred.
