The game alludes to taking place only a few days after the events of the first game, with Linda having been the victor. Nicole, Ruby, and Pamela are 10.

*Speed:3
*Turn:1

lash Kamei

*Age: 10
*Sex:Male
*Board Type: All Around

Energetic Slash has been known to be a source of trouble for the townsfolk. He's extremely competitive, leading to him being constantly at odds with people like Linda. Slash also enjoys any ride with a lot of speed (like minibikes in the warmer months), and considers himself to be the fastest snowboarder in town.

Slash's Stats:

*Speed: 2
*Corner: 2

*Trick: 2

Slash is good to use for only beginners since he has balanced stats.

Nancy Neil

*Age: 10
*Sex: Female
*Board Type: Freestyle

Nancy could be seen as voice of reason in the group, though sometimes they don't bother to listen. Nevertheless, she remains as a kindly girl who is well-liked by kids of all ages because of how well she takes care of others. Many say that her tricks are the best in town, but Nancy is too humble to admit it herself. As the slowest character, Nancy's favorite item slows down opponents. If you use up to three ghosts, the victim's speed slows down to a crawl, stumbling that person down to last place.

Nancy's Stats:

*Speed: 1

*Corner: 3

*Trick: 3

Nancy is the slowest character in the game but she is great with turning and trick ability. Sometimes Nancy does come in handy where there's courses that have sharp turns and gaps.

Jam Kuehnemund

*Age: 10
*Sex: Male
*Board Type: Freestyle Or All Around

He's a fun-loving kid who follows the New York Rap Scene. Jam is smarter than he lets on, but still tends to get carried away when it comes to showing off. When it comes to snowboarding, he calls himself the master trickster, despite the public belief that Nancy is better. For this reason, they share a friendly rivalry. Jam's favorite item, Rock, can be placed anywhere. If you placed a rock at the lift while in first place, the person in second will trip over the rock. Rocks are best placed where players may pass.

Jam's Stats:

*Speed: 1½
*Corner: 2½
*Trick: 2½

Jam's stats are pretty much between a freestyle and all around type but he is also another good character to use for beginners for to checking on gaps and turnings.

Linda Maltinie

*Age: 11
*Sex:Female
*Board Type: Alpine

Linda is the energetic and spoiled daughter of the Maltinie Foundation's owner. She first visited Snow Town when she was seven for medical treatment, but chose to stay there with her servant after recovery. She will force Nicole to eat peanuts with her eyes if she loses the tournament, despite physical impossibilities. Linda's sibling, Brad is used at SBK: Snowboard Kids, known in Japan as Snowboard Kids Party. She and Nicole each like the same item and weapon due to their stats being the same.

Linda's Stats:

*Speed: 2½
*Corner: 1½
*Trick: 1½

Linda's stats are close to being a alpine type but Linda is not good with her turning and trick ability (but her blue special tricks are more difficult to perform) but she can be quite useful to be in the hands of a intermediate or advanced players when it comes to courses and depending on which board type to use on her.

Tommy Parsy

*Age: 10
*Sex:Male
*Board Type: Alpine

Tommy is a gentle boy with a fondness for hamburgers. Because of his quiet nature, it's hard to tell what's on his mind. Villagers mistake him to be mischievous because he's been Slash's friend since childhood, but in truth Slash just pulls him around. Tommy is one who doesn't care much for competition.

Tommy's Stats:

*Speed: 3

*Corner: 1
*Trick: 1

Tommy is the fastest character in the game but however his turning and trick ability is not really good to start off with in terms. Tommy can be decent if he's used by a advanced player.

hinobin

*Age: Unknown (Appears to be 10)
*Sex:Male
*Board Type: ???

Everything about this skilled ninja is a mystery, but he is so feared that no one has ever dared to ask him. Shinobin has the capability of getting his point across without saying a word. It is thought that fellow ninja Kaede is his sibling, but it is only a rumor. He is unlocked once the game is finished with Kaede. Shinobin races at Ninja Land in Snowboard Kids and is seen unless you can finish first at some of the courses, otherwise his favorite item will be the Rat Face, one of Palema's favorite two items.

Shinobin's Stats:

*Speed: 2½

*Corner: 2½
*Trick: 2½

Shinobin cannot use the regular or Special boards. He has his own set.

Shinobin stats are like Slash expect he's a little bit improved but since he has the best stats and has his own snowboard sets. On the downside of Shinobin he can only use level 1 board types on his snowboard sets.

Nicole Couch

*Age: 10
*Sex: Female
*Board Type: Alpine

Nicole is the daughter of the Couch Company's founder who goes to a school in a nearby town. She despises Linda ever since she called her "Upstart Girl", but yet she's nice to Nancy, Slash, Jam, Shinobin and Tommy. Nicole hosts this new competition to spite Linda, and even dares the Maltinie girl to snort spaghetti through her nose if she loses. Nicole's stats matches that of Linda, 11, and Nicole likes the same item and weapon Linda likes. (item, pans; weapon, paracthute)

Nicole's Stats:

*Speed: 2½

*Corner: 1½

*Trick: 1½

Nicole shares the same stats as Linda expect Nicole has a different blue special trick sets than Linda.

Pamela Rasteri

*Age: 10
*Sex: Female
*Board Type: All Around

Pink-haired Pamela is a popular child actress, and is rarely seen because of her busy schedule. Girls at school adore her only because of her status, but Pamela remains unaware. She joins the tournament not for the money, but to witness Nicole and Linda's ridiculous dares. Like Nancy, Pamela has good handling.

Pamela's Stats:

*Speed: 2

*Corner: 3

*Trick: 1

Pamela stats are between the board types and can be tricky to use depending on which board type to use on Pamela.

Ruby Green

*Age: 10
*Sex: Male
*Board Type: Alpine

Ruby is the narcissistic muscular kid who refers to himself as "Nice Guy." Because of his appearance, people think that he's a chaperone when he's seen with the kids (much to his chagrin). While Ruby doesn't have much interest in snowboarding, he competes only to win the 100,000G prize money for himself. His speed and turn stat matches that of Tommy expect Ruby has small trick improvement.

Ruby's Stats:

*Speed: 3

*Corner: 1
*Trick: 1½

Ruby has the same stats as Tommy when it comes to Speed and Turns expect Ruby has a small trick improvement.

Kaede

*Age: Unknown (Appears to be 10)
*Sex: Female
*Board Type: ???

The kunoichi trainee Kaede seemingly appears out of nowhere. Though she shares the same snowboarding prowess as Shinobin, Kaede lacks his maturity and discipline. Her reasons for entering the tournament are unknown. Kaede appears as a playable character the first time the game is completed. Like her sibling Shinobin, Kaede has the same stats.

Kaede's Stats:

*Speed: 2½
*Corner: 2½

*Trick: 2½ Like Shinobin, Kaede cannot use the regular or Special boards. She uses the same gear as he does

Kaede has the same stats as Shinobin but prior to it she also has her own snowboard set.

New Features

Auto-Pilot

When crossing the finish line, the computer will automatically steer your character towards the lift-in. This option can be disabled.

New Board Designs

Along with the standard 14 paint jobs that were in the first game, Snowboard Kids Plus adds two more.

Bleach Booth

Unlike other games in the series, Snowboard Kids Plus gives you the shop option to dye each characters' hair one of eight different colors for 500G. While most options are solid colors, some actually come in patterns for certain characters (such as adding yellow streaks to Slash's black hair).

Wear Booth

Along with the Bleach Booth, the Wear Booth adds more opportunity to customize your characters (in this case with new outfits). There are five outfits in all for each of the ten snowboarders; the default counts as the first option, and the next three are readily available for purchase at the shop. The final alternate costume is sold after the other four have been acquired.

Event Viewer

Probably the biggest difference between Snowboard Kids and Snowboard Kids Plus is the addition of cut scenes. While nearly all story scenes in the game consist of still pictures with voice overs, the introduction that plays when you first load the game is fully animated. You get a cut scene when you first start a new game, and whenever you complete the game with one of the characters. The first time you finish the game, you will be able to replay the credits as well. The Event Viewer is on the Option menu.
