Peyton Randolph (1779-1828) was a politician from Virginia. Following the death of Governor George William Smith, Randolph served as acting Governor of Virginia, from 1811 until 1812.
Randolph County, West Virginia was formed in 1787 and named in Governor Randolph's honor.
